August Bank Holiday - Chichester - 23rd/27th August 2018

As the long hot summer of 2018 comes to an end, we headed to Chichester Marina for a long weekend. The weather wasn't predicted to be great but it was the last Bank Holiday of the summer so we decided to make the most of it. We left Thursday afternoon and used the following wind and tide to give a comfortable journey despite F4/5 conditions. The following day we went into Chichester on the Bus and had a fabulous Mexican Lunch, the following day Sarah, Kev and the kids visited us at the Marina. On the Sunday however the weather broke and it rained all day. We decided to head back on Bank Holiday Monday 27th and encountered strong winds and heavy sea's F5 gusting 6 making the trip back interesting to say the least.

Holiday Cruise - Haslar Marina - 11th/12th August 2018

We arrived backed a day early in to Haslar to avoid potential high winds scheduled for Sunday, the weather delivered the predicted rain bringing another Summer Holiday Cruise to a close.

Holiday Cruise - Bembridge - 9th/11th August 2018

We headed for Bembridge for the last three days but the weather was overcast and raining, we did go to Newport to meet Sarah & Kev and came back to Bembridge for lunch on the Friday. The weather was showing strong winds for the Sunday so we headed back a day early on Saturday morning and stayed on board for the last day.

Holiday Cruise - East Cowes - 6th/9th August 2018

On Monday 6th August we headed off to East Cowes on calm sea's to cover Cowes week at Dean & reddyhoff, the weather began to break up a little with cloudy skies and rain. Got a pic of HRH Princess Anne who visited the RNLI Factory next door to the Marina.
