We went to Emsworth Marina (Yacht Harbour) for the Whitsun Bank Holiday Weekend, the weather was fab...we just chilled out and took in the sun. Emsworth is a real treasure.

Stunning weekend of full Sun in the 20's (degs) all weekend, so we took Jude and Little Zena to Bembridge, on the Saturday night the tide was one on the lowest Spring tides of the year which results in a very very low tide, so we joined others walking out into the Solent when it revealed the causeway bank to St Helen's Fort, only exposed for 1 hour so no hanging around...bit Scary!!!

A long weekend to Bembridge IOW for a tranquil break together and some quiet time after a really busy week and the Sun just kept shinning, hopefully we are going to get a good summer?.....(Oh well that will put the kibosh on it.....)

With yet another fabulous March Weekend we took our maiden trip of the 2014 season to our favorite Marina at East Cowes, with four children onboard it was certainly cozy....need a bigger boat!

Return to the Water - Feb 7th 2014

Two months of solid graft when the weather or life permitted and Greek Princess is all back together ready for relauch with spring just round the corner.

27th January - Hull Fully Primed

GP fully primed (2 coats) ready for new anti-foul, nearing the end of the job!

January 19th - Bottom Scraped

Bottom Scraped and stripped back to the GRP - Massive Job took 3 days, never again!

January 5th 2014 - Anti foul Removal from the Hull

Removed the Anti foul from the Port Side

Removed the Anti foul completely from the trim tabs

The leg is completely ready for re-connection, so with a break in the rain I decided to crack on with stripping the old anti foul from the Hull and Trim Tabs.  The boat is 10 years old in March 2014, so we've decided to strip back to the gel coat and start again to get the boat back to tip top condition.
This is a big job and will take several days just stripping back before we can make good, hopefully the final result will justify the hard work.
