7th September 2013 Making Permanent Dock Lines

Spent the afternoon (finally) making up Permanent Dock Lines, splicing ends the eyelets and shackling to the dock, it took several hours but by the end I was getting faster....just three more to go.

Just preparing for the onslaught of winter in a month or two and a few Northerly's blowing down Langstone Harbour, lets hope the splicing holds.....!

Bembridge IOW Aug 31st to Sept 1st

We had a quick night away to Bembridge before they return to school on the 4th, the weather this summer continues to shine
