Few Jobs Done - 30th Nov 2016

Through November I've carried out a number of Commincation Enhancements, removing the old 0.9M VHF Glomex Aerial for a new 2.5M VHF Shakespeare Mast, that should sort out the comms problems we've been having.

I also changed the mast mounts to Glomex Heavy Duty SS adjustable mounts, so the aerials can be dropped when underway or navigating low bridges.  At the same time opting to change the old 0.5M DBTV Mast for a new Glomex 1.2M GRP/SS Ferrell Mast to improve overall TV reception, (that will keep the crew happy).

In addition, I removed the last plastic fitting by upgrading the Shore Power Socket to a SS Merinco Unit.

Then finally, I removed old Transducer for the new Garmin GT20 (designed for our Chart Plotter) with Down Vu technology, this provides both traditional Sonar and Actual 3D underwater imagery!

That completes a month of techy jobs, now need to crack on with the Hull & Leg.

Annual Lift - 3rd November 2016

Another season draws to a close and its that time of year to put Greek Princess on to her stands for a well earned rest and some much needed TLC. We can look back on the a season which included our first ever channel crossing and our visit to Jersey and Guernsey with Motorboat Owners Magazine. Its been a remarkable season all round and one we can look back on in old age and say 'we did that'.
