Whit-Sun Bank Holiday at East Cowes - 24th/28th May 2018

We slipped away early in the rain for the Bank Holiday Weekend and headed off to East Cowes arriving on Thursday 24th. Sarah, Jude & Little Zena joined us on the Friday and came back with us on Monday 28th. The weather was very hot over the whole weekend, we did have a thunderstorm on Saturday Night which cleared through by the morning.

The following morning we headed to Cowes via the floating Bridge to get some supplies and Zena got a new Helly Hanson gilet

On the Saturday we headed out for a day on the Bus with Sarah, Jude and Little Zena who had arrived on the Friday Night via the Hovercraft.

Saturday Night we ended up with a major Thunderstorm which lasted all night bringing a lot of rain

Haslar Berth Holders Party - 19th May 2018

We headed to Haslar for the weekend to cover the Berth Holders Party for D& R, the weather was sunny but there was a cool breeze which kept the temperatures down.

May Day Bank Holiday Sunshine - 4th - 8th May 2018


The sun returned bringing six days of an early summer to the Solent, we headed to Lymington to enjoy the most prolonged period of calm seas and summer sun shine. On Saturday 5th May we headed down to Portland on the train to cover the D & R Drystack Opening. After three fabulous days of sun in Lymington we crossed the Solent to Yarmouth Harbour to enjoy the last day on the Isle of Wight.
