August Bank Holiday - 27th to the 29th August 2016

With the sunny weather continuing we headed to East Cowes (just Zena and I) for a long weekend, and met up by chance with several of the gang from the 'cruise in company' who just happened to be their at the same time. We decided we'd go for a dinner at The Red Duster where we had a great time reminiscing over the cruise with the crews of About Time & Soluble.

Cowes Week 2016 - 6th to the 11th August 2016

We arrived into East Cowes for a settled period for a few days, after the constant moving of the cruise in company it was welcome change. I was doing the annual photography at Cowes week for Dean & Reddyhoff who operate East Cowes Marina. Fortunately we manage to get some days out with Jude & Zena.

Arrival into St Peters Port Guernsey - 5th August 2016

After four and half hours at sea the beauty of St Peters Port was gratefully received, as we all shared a few tots of rum at dock side after the monstrous journey from Saint Quay Pontrieux. Little Zena tripped over Paul's shore power lead and was christened, unfortunately no damaged. We then went for a quick explore of the town.
