Little Boat Big Sea's Saint Quay to Guernsey - 5th August 2016

With the exception of negotiating the 12 nm fog bank on the original crossing, the journeys we're largely uneventful until the journey from Saint Quay Pontrieux to Guernsey. Neale who was running the cruise advised that it may well be challenging but we were running out of time for our return to the UK. We hit choppy waters the minute we left and it got worse by the nautical mile. Two hours into a four and half hour journey the swells were between 2-3 metres the Zena's we're decidedly poorly. The site of St Peters Port Guernsey couldn't come into the view soon enough. After eight years boating this had to be the most challenging.
The Sea state was choppy from the outset

I think it was about this time I was wondering what the hell I was thinking!
